The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is a partially recognized state that controls a thin strip of landlocked area in Western Sahara. The SADR government controls about 25% of the territory it claims against Morocco.

The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic has an area of 266,000 sq km, and a population of between 100,000 and 500,000.
